OckyPocky is hiring a Tech Lead of Engineering ( Possible CTO) to lead the development of a high volume education technology platform with a growing team. You will ensure scalability and robustness of the platform, identifying and driving continuous improvements for a 100X traffic in next 12 months.

Your primary role is to manage, develop and grow this team - taking care of hiring, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, career development, and performance management. We believe it's important to be passionate about building teams and we're looking for experience in mentoring and developing managers as well as engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on engineering experience with modern software stacks, cloud-based platforms, and high-stakes infrastructure.
• Proven leadership skills to a team of at least 3 engineers in agile environment
• A collaborative and supportive style over a directive one.
• Excellent communication skills and natural empathy.
• Experience with ML/Deep Learning or speech recognition stacks would be helpful
• Ability to write quality code, but know that your time is better spent mentoring your team.
  • Relevant Backend experience: PythonDjango, postgres/mysql Or Algorithms, Data Sciences
  • Startup attitude
