A Flutter Developer at Codefree will be responsible for engineering applications that will run across Android, iOS, Web and Desktop. We are looking for someone passionate about solving real life business problems, app performance, reliability, and user friendly design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion. Ideal candidates should be able to take ownership of applications, solve technical challenges and take pride in their solutions and code. Should have experience building native applications, JavaScript knowledge is a plus, and a portfolio of applications already published either in the app store or self-hosted.

Requirements:

• Have 2+ iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on Github;
• 3+ years experience in Mobile App development;
• 2+ year experience in Flutter application development;
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and REST APIs;
• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle;
• Experience with Automated testing and building is a Plus;
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools;
• Proven experience in writing readable code;
• Proven experience in creating extensive documentation for existing code;
• Proven experience in refactoring previously written code.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance;
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support;
• Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs (including crashes and ANRs) to increase the functionality of the application;
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code;
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications;
• Prepare and produce releases of software components;
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review;
• Collaborate with team members (product managers, developers, designers) to brainstorm about new features and functionalities.
