Sr. PHP Developer

We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer who will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Coding – You should have the ability to write and modify PHP code that is clean, functional, and successfully integrated into web applications.

Troubleshooting and debugging – You should have an excellent troubleshooting and testing skills to eliminate bugs and server-side issues with web applications.

Team collaboration – In this role, you will work closely with frontend developers and other programmers, sothey need strong team collaboration and coordination skills.

Technical writing – throughout the development process, you will create and update documents related to your code as per our standard, so you should know the best practices for documentation and technical writing.

Skills And Qualifications

Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 7 year(s)
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks.
Strong knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
Strong knowledge of MVC architecture
Strong knowledge in CORE PHP, J-Query, AJAX, HTML,
JavaScript
Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
Experience with building restful JSON web services
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN
Good knowledge of project management tool - JIRA
Good knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as
Drupal, Zend, Laravel, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack
Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query language
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, React.js, HTML5 and CSS3
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Knowledge of API’s, such as twitter, Facebook,
Google maps, Instagram, etc.
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
Understanding accessibility and security compliance proto
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
