React / Node JS Full Stack developer

Responsibilities:

Completely own the design and delivery of the UI layer
Designing and Developing new user-facing features using React.js
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future by applying functional programming concepts
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills:

Minimum 6 - 8 years of front end development experience with at least 1 year of strong React.js experience
Solid grasp of design patterns with ability to translate design to low level code
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, HTML and CSS
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with React.js workflows - Redux
Experience with data structure libraries
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Hands on with modern authorization mechanisms - JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Hands on with code versioning tools - Git
Hands on with any visualisation libraries and comfortable working with large dataset driven analytical applications
Ability and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup mode
