BlueVine is looking for an exceptional data-oriented developer to join our Tel-Aviv Data Science team.
 
If you have a previous background in data-oriented positions (data analysis, BI, etc.) and are an excellent programmer excited about developing and supporting Data Science processes, this is a great opportunity to join a diverse Data Science team working on core company needs.
 
As a Data Science Developer you will develop and maintain production grade data science processes - this includes improving analytical visualizations, creating quality data pipelines that support both production and research activities, scaling up existing solutions to deal with system loads, optimizing existing infrastructures to improve accuracy and runtime, parallelizing processes to better utilize compute power, etc.
All that while leveraging your data-oriented, analytical background to make sure we are providing the right answers to BlueVine’s business needs.
 
Ideal candidates for this position will be creative people with an out-of-the-box mindset that have some prior understanding of machine learning models and supporting processes and are great coders. 


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Collaborate on highly technical projects - from redesigning working infrastructures to maintaining and improving our current models and underlying systems to integrating new technologies to the data science workflow.
* Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building our analytical systems.
* Transform data science prototypes into production-ready products.
* Design machine learning systems and applications according to business requirements.
* Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
* Work closely with your teammates, R&D department and additional US and Israel based teams.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
* BSc in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
* Data-oriented background combined with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
* At least 3 years of experience programming in Python, Ability to write robust, production grade code in Python, including solid knowledge of data structures, software architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
* Experience with at least some aspects of the algorithms development/data science lifecycle - from analytics and viability research to prototyping, developing, deploying and later maintaining algorithms/models in a production environment.
* Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn) is a plus.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work in a team
