VP Engineering

This position reports directly to our CEO – Alekh Sanghera & will play a critical role in building our Development Center at Gurgaon as an integral part of the Leadership team.

Technical ownership of an entire line of business or a horizontal platform.
Own product portfolios of FarMart & lead the technical team.
Involvement in the full software development life cycle with stringent needs on (i) time to market, and (ii) quality of product - functional and non-functional aspects.
Designing and defining the interaction between the different components and teams.
Work closely with the peers and product managers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

The role is critical, hence we are very keen to hire someone with below skills, knowledge and experience:

i) Someone who has been into Technical Product Development and got transfigured into a Product technology Owner
ii) Has proficiency in integrating data from multiple data sources, create data lakes and building front end solutions
iii) Strong Database design skills for NoSQL and SQL will be a plus - iv) Experience in building stream-processing systems and has participated in architecture and design of a solution, lead module level design and implementation
iv) Has managed architects and software engineers and played a critical role in Architecture, Design and Development
v) Deep technical knowledge in various platforms like android, web, servers, etc and security to dive into details with engineers and distil to a high level for executives, customers, and non-technical audience
vi) Experienced in software engineering, massive-scale web operations and security with Product Companies
vii) Versatility with developing products on multiple technology stacks that get delivered in traditional data centers, public clouds, and private clouds.
viii) Should be able to handle the rapid change in technology due to structural and model change in operation and guide the development team accordingly.
viiii) Well versed in any software development process framework like scrum.
Should be able to determine rough time estimation after a change in the workflow after change in business model.
x)Well versed in various release processes like CI/CD.
xi) Deep knowledge in System architecture design and lead development team to follow the entire standard development process
