Senior Android Developer

As an Android developer, you would be responsible for developing new features and optimizing existing features in our suite of mobile apps.

- Deploy / optimize and deliver Machine Learning models using ML Kit working with data science teams;

- Develop creative new app features to enhance our user experience.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define, develop, and ship new features

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

- Developing solutions in an iterative environment to meet ongoing product needs

Requirements :

Education : B.Tech / BE Degree/Certificate in Computer Science from a tier one institute

Years of Experience : Minimum 3- years of experience

- Android application development experience is mandatory

- Knowledge and experience in Java, Android libraries (butterknife, etc.) and frameworks.

- Knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.

- Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines

- Knowledge of OOP best practices.

- Experience working with design files. (Photoshop, Zeplin, etc)

- Eager to learn new programming languages and technologies (C++, OpenGL, Kotlin, etc).

- Experience working with version controls (git).

- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.

- Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.

- Self-starter who can work independently.

- Strong consultative and communication skills with strong English language communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively with team members in pursuit of problem solutions

- Demonstrable success translating User Expectations into a fully functional mobile apps

- Experience in delivering consumer grade / enterprise apps
