The Role

Augmented Reality Senior Software Engineer, Medivis, Inc., New York NY:

Responsibilities:
Prototyping and producing critical components of our two core products, SurgicalAR and AnatomyX. Includes writing well-designed, maintainable code that is performant on mobile platforms; shipping and maintaining a product which will be used by thousands of doctors to safely operate on patients; providing insightful feedback on code and feature design to improve the quality of the products.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or software engineering or a related field. Prior experience must include 1 year of experience working with 3D programming; 1 year of experience with C++, and C#; 1 year of experience with Unity or Unreal game engine; 1 year of experience graphics programming with shaders, OpenGL, or DirectX; and 1 year of experience developing for the Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap or VR. In the alternative, employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience.
