About KOKO Networks
KOKO Networks is a venture-backed technology company operating in East Africa and India. We build and deploy cloud-connected "KOKOpoints" inside local retail outlets, which serve as consumer access points for goods and services delivered in partnership with major suppliers. Our first consumer solution is liquid ethanol cooking fuel, which delivers significant cost savings and quality of life improvements in the multi-billion dollar urban cooking market. In Kenya, this solution is delivered in partnership with Vivo Energy, the company which owns and operates Shell-branded fuels distribution infrastructure across Africa.
Your Role
As Lead Studio Artist, you will be the master craftsman responsible for creating & maintaining the look and feel of KOKO's brand. You will think visually to develop stunning layouts and compositions that attract our target audiences. You will design visual content for brand, social stories, film, and snackable videos, working closely with KOKO's Lead Designer, Lead Copywriter, and Creative Director.
What You Will Do
* Develop and maintain the KOKO look in communications material for our target audiences
* Brainstorm visual ideas with other members of the creative team
* Serve as a custodian of the KOKO brand manual and presentation guidelines
* Assist Lead Graphic Designer with social/digital media and brand collateral design
* Oversee production print material, marketing collateral, and rollout on KOKO Digital Media
What You Will Bring to KOKO
* 4+ years of experience working in Advertising, Communications or equivalent
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communication, Advertising, or equivalent
* Proven delivery of ideas that work and/or award-worthy ideas
* A curious mind, creativity, and imagination
* Excellent craft in visual design software with Photoshop & Illustrator or equivalent
* Great interpersonal skills
* Ability to move fast and make decisions while in pressured situations
* Eye for detail and design and a thirst to execute flawlessly
* Interest in technology, commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
