*The Opportunity *

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various business teams to gather requirements, define functional specifications, develop test plans, and ensure successful project implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing projects and administering key tools such as Jira and Confluence to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.

*Responsibilities *

• Work closely with business teams to understand and analyze business requirements, processes, and objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product and system requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for technical teams
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, functional specifications, and test plans
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Lead the development and execution of test plans to validate new functionality and ensure system integrity
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress against timelines and milestones
• Administer key tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management and collaboration tools to support project activities and enhance team productivity
• Provide training and support to end-users as needed to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis, project management, and technology solutions

*About You *

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in project management, including project planning, resource management, and tracking project progress
• Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools for functional and regression testing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Bonus if you have experience with UI/UX design

*What We Offer *

• Pay transparency range: $110,000 to $125,000 annually; this is a 1099 role
• Hybrid work environment; three days a week onsite in Stanford, CT
