Software Engineering Manager

About the role:

• Manage and develop a team of software engineers.
• Set technical direction for the software engineering team and adjacent teams and drive individual performance.
• Support engineering team in achieving a high level of technical quality, reliability, developer productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with product manager to build a category-leading product or product suite.
• Help to recruit, interview, and hire engineers for the team and engineering organization.
• Set goals, strategies, budgets, and oversee deployment of large-scale endeavors.
• Work across our stack to develop new products, features, and tools for customers' autonomy development workflows.
• Work with domain experts across field: infrastructure, robotics, and graphics engineers, and startup veterans.
• Collaborate with other members in autonomy ecosystem and learn about different approaches to solving core issues in autonomy.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Must have a Masters in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Aeronautics Engineering
• Three years of experience in a software engineer role, one year of which has been in a lead software engineer role
• Three years using Python.

The salary range for this position is $239,200 - $305,250 per year USD annually.
