About ThoughtMetric: ThoughtMetric is a bootstrapped B2B SaaS startup working to solve marketing attribution for e-commerce companies. We help SMB and mid-market e-commerce brands understand the performance of their marketing and make data-driven decisions to scale revenue. Job Description: ThoughtMetric is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing to join our team in Boston, MA. This is the first marketing hire and employee #3 at ThoughtMetric and you would be responsible for complete ownership of the marketing motion from high level strategy to day-to-day execution. As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate brand awareness, and drive sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pipeline Growth: Design and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, including SEO, content, PPC, affiliate programs, and marketing automation tailored to the SMB and mid-market e-commerce market in order to drive strong pipeline growth.
2. Brand Management: Elevate and maintain brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications.
3. Content Creation: Oversee the development of engaging content for various channels (website, blogs, newsletters, social media) to attract and retain clients.
4. SEO and SEM: Manage SEO strategies and SEM campaigns to increase visibility and drive traffic.
5. PPC: Manage and oversee PPC ads and strategy.
6. Marketing Automation: Collaborate with sales to automate the customer journey and refine and optimize automated touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- The desire and motivation to take full ownership of the marketing motion for a small startup.
- Several years of B2B Marketing experience, preferably within the e-comm industry, and a proven track record.
- Strong understanding and ability to execute on SEO and SEM, PPC, content marketing and marketing automation.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
