Lead QA Engineer

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience as a QA engineer
• 2 years of experience leading a QA team
• Experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 years of experience with Javascript.
• 2 years of experience with Typescript.
• Knowledge of good coding and testing practices.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience in investing or related field
• Experience with test automation suites and best practices.
• Experience with web and mobile test automation.
• Experience with performance, load and accessibility testing.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create plan and followup on test plans for different projects and iterations that the product goes through
• Create and implement test strategies by working with development teams to identify risk areas and fill the testing gaps.
• Generate test content for testing AI/ML model functionality and performance.
• Automate tests using existing test frameworks and work with the Engineering Productivity team to enhance and develop new test frameworks based on test requirements.
• Triage and analyze test results and incoming feedback to identify areas for improvement.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will implement testing strategies, promote good software engineering practices, and build out our testing infrastructure and test content.
