The Role

Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore

Responsibilities
We are building the marketing team at Furrl, and you will be part of an
exciting journey of building this product from scratch. We are looking for smart and driven fashionistas who are quick to learn, passionate about marketing and retail, and excited about the 0 to 1 journey.

You will expand and enhance the brand’s presence online and on-app experience with a content-first approach.

  1. Social Media Marketing
    Strategize and execute the content plan for our social media handle. This includes building weekly content strategies, creating and/or sourcing content for those, owning all social media engagement, working with brands for content etc.
    Create in house content to drive brand and engagement.
    Be the face of Furrl on social media - responding to comments and DMs, interacting with other handles and building brand awareness.
    Use tools like Google Analytics & Facebook Insights to track and measure the success of marketing campaigns.
    Provide regular reports and insights to the management.

  2. Influencer Marketing
    Collaborate and reach out to influencers to create content that aligns with Furrl’s brand and target audience.
    Track and measure the impact of influencer marketing efforts.

  3. Content Marketing
    Create content and write engaging and insightful copies for all app consumer engagement channels such as push notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.
    Create content for marketing newsletters and build strategic content partnerships.
    Own customer communication templates and customer delight strategies on and off app. This includes innovative content interventions to increase engagement on-app.
    Collaborate with the design team to ensure that all content is consistent with our brand voice and messaging.

  4. Market Research
    Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies in the D2C and ecommerce space.
    Analyse data and create actionable insights on marketing initiatives
    Other marketing initiatives
    Work closely with the Growth team on other marketing initiatives such as partnerships and collaborations.

Requirements
BBA / BCom degree in Marketing or related fields. MBA degree desirable but not necessary.
1-3 years of experience in social media/ content roles in a consumer business, preferably in D2C.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated content writing experience.
Must be a regular social media user, familiar with commonly used content formats.
Should be proficient in image and video editing such as creating and editing posts, reels etc. using tools like Canva.
Should have a keen eye and interest in new-age fashion.

Bonus points if you
Have a social following of your own or are an active member of fashion communities. Regular track record of social content creation is a big plus.
Are an independent brand enthusiast and supporter.
Are enthusiastic about being a part of a startup and enjoy taking end to end ownership of tasks.
