Comptable Général/Senior Accountant - France

We are looking for Comptable Général/Senior Accountant to join our team international team!

About the Role:

• Responsible for accounting for our french entity - Glooko SAS
• Ensure accounting is aligned with requirements and legalisation
• Responsible for reporting and payments to tax and social insurance authorities (including VAT)
• Manage the daily/monthly operations including but not limited to:
  • general ledger/accounts payable/receivable
  • invoicing
  • cash management
  • reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Travel & expense management
• Responsible for monthly payroll administration and reporting
• Keep up to date on rules and regulations related to job
• Developing and improving routines within Finance focusing on continuous improvement
• Support other finance team member and other ad hoc tasks within finance

About you:

• Have a relevant advanced degree or similar/relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting
• Positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to independently identify and implement improvements
• Outstanding numerical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
• Fluency in French and English
• Proficient knowledge in Excel
