The Role

We are seeking a results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly driven Account Manager as a full-time addition to the team. The Account Manager will report to the UK Sales Director with a dotted line to the EU Client Services Manager. The AM will work with the rest of the EU Client Services team and will have direct responsibility for a number of UK accounts (direct advertisers and/or agencies), with the goal of maximizing the account revenue and ensuring an excellent level of service.

The Account Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end relationship with the clients in his/her book-of-business and will be the main point of contact for addressing problems, implementing solutions and supervising the work of mediasmart’s cross functional teams involved in providing service to the client. He or she must ensure that the campaign strategies are a match to the brief provided by the client.

This is a client-facing position and requires a multifaceted individual who can represent mediasmart, while executing campaigns and coordinating with other internal teams to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Team / Dept. Mission

Maximise revenue and service for our customers via our proprietary programmatic technology. Enable mediasmart to be the monetization partner of choice for advertisers and agencies across Mobile, CTV and DOOH.

Key Accountabilities

  • Campaign Management: execute advertising campaigns on mediasmart’s platform for a range of clients across a wide variety of industries
  • Campaign Strategy: devise and implement optimization strategies
  • Campaign performance and reach, including audience targeting, inventory packages/ deals, creative approaches and the use of mediasmart’s advanced features
  • Data Analysis: analyze ongoing campaign performance to reach KPIs, provide insights and actionable recommendations for ongoing improvements; ensure the quality of the inventory matches the customer expectations
  • Budget Management: Handle budget allocation and pacing to achieve campaign objectives
  • Reporting: Provide detailed post-campaign analysis and reports; use reporting as an opportunity to share learnings that are conducive to campaign renewal and client growth
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with your clients, driving loyalty and key understanding of business objectives; identify opportunities for mediasmart to deliver more value to advertisers
  • Upselling and Cross-selling: identify opportunities to introduce new mediasmart solutions that align with client goals and effectively present these opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Collaboration: Provide best-practice training, both in one-to-one interactions with customers and through online documentation
  • Work closely with the technical and product team to provide ideas for system improvements and IO clients’ needs

Requirements

  • +4 years’ experience in ad operations in Programmatic digital media, preferably in campaign management and DSPs
  • +2 years’ experience in Programmatic environment operating DSPs
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline (Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Computer Science, Math, Economy, Statistics, etc.)
  • Highly organized with regards to daily and weekly tasks with clients/agencies.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry, digital media platforms and solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, as it will be key to present end-of-campaign reports and insights to clients - virtually and physically
  • Fluency in English, additional European languages a plus
  • Proficiency with metrics used in digital media for managing and optimizing ad campaigns to achieve a broad range of marketing objectives.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups, graphs, etc.)
