The Role

Wanna join the adventure?Loft Orbital builds “shareable” satellites, providing a fast & simple path to orbit for organizations that require access to space. Powered by our hardware & software products, we operate satellites, fly customer payloads onboard, and handle entire missions from end to end - significantly reducing the lead-time and risk of a traditional space mission.

The Flight Software team is responsible for creating the core software between the Payloads collecting the data and the Bus controlling our satellites. The team covers the framework for services, communication interface and data management. They work in a Linux environment. We build the bricks that enable Loft to customize the satellite configuration while guarantying standardization of the space infrastructure.

We're looking for that unicorn who thrives on bringing order to chaos, finds satisfaction in analyzing metrics to draw conclusions, possesses the ability to present their findings graphically for broad comprehension, and excels in achieving results without the need for formal organizational authority. If you feel “seen” after reading that last sentence, don’t hesitate, apply now, even if you don't meet all of the 'nice-to-have' criteria outlined below.
