Kitchen Designer

**Responsibilities: **

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
• Anticipating and informing clients of additional features and providing expert advice on design choices.
• Revise designs based on client input and finalise plans for construction.
• Giving careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.
• Designing kitchen layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings that illustrate the layout and appearance of all installations and loose furnishings.
• Suggesting appropriate materials and finishes.
• Assisting clients select and supervise independent contractors in accordance with their visions.
• Keeping a record of hours and activities completed to ensure that clients are billed accurately.
• Observing prescribed building and safety regulations.

Kitchen Designer Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• Prior experience as a kitchen designer.
• Familiarity with appropriate design and visualisation tools ( Infurnia,AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D modelling tools).
• Catalogue of completed blueprints, plus completed kitchens.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Respect for differing opinions, styles, and financial situations.
