WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Manage, coach and mentor a team of data-oriented Python developers that works closely with Analytics, Data Science, and other Data teams.
• Support BlueVine’s Data efforts by developing features for analytical decisions and ML models, data processing pipelines, monitoring tools, and more..
• Work with stakeholders, group managers and fellow team leaders on planning projects and tasks.
• Guide team members through code reviews, design discussions, debugging sessions, etc.
• Design and develop data and model monitoring tools - producing automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader of python developers or data engineering team
• 6+ years of hands-on experience programming in Python in a fast-paced production environment
• Communication skills, ability to collaborate smoothly with and convey complex ideas in a clear way to people of different backgrounds.
• Ability to quickly and independently learn new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms.
• Proactivity, result-driven and multi-tasker abilities; creativity and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent English, written and verbal.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field

Bonus points if you also have:

• Python Data/ML libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn) experience
• Experience working with Airflow
• Jenkins based CI/CD experience
