ReefWatch Marine Conservation (https://reefwatchindia.org/) is looking for a new Outreach Officer for our field base in Goa. Here we work largely with Marine Megafauna like sea turtles, cetaceans and sea birds - responding to strandings and providing veterinary care. We are looking for an Education and Outreach Officer to support this project and work across Goa.

This is a full-time job in-person.
Posting location: Benaulim, Goa
Responsibilities:
- Organise and conduct educational talks and activities with school and college students to create awareness about marine conservation and ecosystems.
- Design posts and content for social media, newsletters & the website.
- Plan and organise programmes to involve local stakeholders in marine conservation.
- Assist the team with stranding response under the Marine Megafauna Project.
- Assist with admin work like maintaining registers for the base.
Prerequisites:
- Graduate degree
- Good communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi & Konkani (preferred).
- Driver’s license (4-wheeler)
Renumeration: Rs. 20,000 per month (food stipend and accommodation provided)
We're looking for someone creative and motivated to lead our outreach and education initiatives in Goa! The job would also involve specific tasks like conducting recurring workshops with children to raise awareness, keeping the monthly Oceans Club running, compiling quarterly newsletters and updating the website content, among others.
