Responsibilities

Lead performance enhancement and cost reduction of unprecedented "solid fuel" with a goal of building the most economical energy storage solution
Perform hands on inorganic chemistry experiments and carry out thermal/chemical characterization of material
Carry out accelerated, long term testing of material under practical application conditions
Work in a small, driven, collaborative team with a large amount of autonomy and ownership

Qualifications

An innovative mindset with an ability to plan and perform inorganic materials experiments. The ability to move fast and the knack for getting things done are necessary. A master’s degree or higher in Civil, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred but not necessary. Individuals with an undergraduate degree in related fields and significant research experience are also suitable.
