General Manager - Launch the product, then run the company!

Swordy Moon is looking for the #1 person who will manage operations, develop the go-to-market strategy and launch the product to the world. Our current team includes 4 founder-investors who's experience include being CFO, CMO, CEO and COO - we are ready to fund this role and guide the eager entrepreneur throught the company launch process. We also have a full time head seamstress and two people supporting her in the sewing operation. The company already has capital equipment, manufactuirng space, a well designed product and the outline of a business and marketing plan. What we are looking for is an eager, responsible, creative entrepreneur who will hustle to launch the product to the market and begin the process of generating revenue and scaling the operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the go-to-market strategy and strategic plan for the company growth
• Manage launch of company into the world and oversee all management and operations of the company
• Manage marketing and sales of product
• Manage operations and manufacturing
• Manage quality of product and quality of customer service
• Be a steward of the financial resources of the company
• Evolve the company processes and team to sustain growth

Qualifications

• You're on a mission to become an entrepreneur - with a love for growing teams, developing and launching new products, and hustling.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, marketing, industrial engineering, industrial design or fashion
• 3-6 years demonstrated experience in marketing, luxury branding, luxury or fashion product development, business operations management, working in a startup or venture capital
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage, solve ambiguous problems of all types that come up in a small, early stage business, and be scrappy and resourceful
• Interest/passion for the ocean, water sports, boating/sailing, fishing, or marine life
• Availability to travel as needed
