We're a young start-up developing disruptive technology for more efficient and sustainable production. The cooling strategies used so far for machining cause high-energy consumption and are often harmful to employees' health. We've developed an innovative process cooling approach for machining that allows more efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
Our team consists of three co-founders looking for immediate support from a Founding Engineer who can assist us in developing electronic hardware and software as well as in the implementation of the project idea.
Initially, the venture will be funded by the EXIST research transfer program, which provides a salary guarantee for 18 months and additional material resources to build the prototype and first products.
Tasks:
- Define the hardware architecture and product integration concept
- Develop hardware platform (circuit design, selection of power components and assembly technologies)
- Coordination with related areas such as software or mechanics
Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial drive and motivation to build up a deep-tech start-up.
- Enjoy technically complex topics and can familiarize yourself with them quickly.
- Experience in the software and hardware development of mechatronic systems.
- Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable course of study
