We are a rapidly expanding, US Private Equity backed, high-growth technology business based in Macclesfield. An exciting business with continuous growth plans for the next few years, this role reports into our Assistant Financial Controller providing a strong mentor and succession plan for future growth. The role . . .
- Leading on the preparation of the global management accounts encompassing 17 trading entities in multiple currencies and locations
- Analysis of P&L activity and investigation of variances
- Balance Sheets control account reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations and recharges across group entities
- Assistance with the global audit process in multiple countries
- Assistance with tax workstreams such as VAT returns and US sales tax returns
- Continuous process improvement across group processes
- Management of one team member in Bulgaria
- Ad hoc projects and duties
The ideal candidate . . .
- ACA/ACCA newly qualified Accountant
- Audit and/or tax experience
- Commercial acumen with the ability to work with stakeholders
- Experience with complex reconciliations
- Ability to problem solve
- Attention to detail
- Good excel skills required
