Your role
As Mobile UX/UI Designer, you’ll take a product, feature or experience from ideation to production. This includes vision setting, prototyping, solution design, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other team members in design, research, product and engineering.

You are responsible for driving the development and design of digital interfaces for both Bopple and white-label brand partners. You will leverage your extensive experience building digital interfaces to ensure the highest quality end product for our users. This role is expected to be a hands-on designer with a bias for testing, iterating, and incorporating feedback to enhance the user experience.

You will take the initiative to identify design needs across the organization as well as executing on the solutions. You are expected to be very collaborative, working closely with our engineering teams to develop an intimate understanding of Bopple platforms, products and services to deliver the appropriate design solution.

Your responsibilities

• Create world-class mobile and web application product designs.
• Quarterbacking experiences with product and engineering teams to design new features, functionality and iterative improvements across our digital platforms.
• Continuously analyze user activity and feedback to make design improvements and enhance the user experience.
• Support the whole design process from storyboarding, documentation, high-level user flows and wireframing to high-fidelity and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Champion and lead the development of brand standards, templates, creative and design systems.
• Identify new opportunities through analytics, research and feedback.
• Conduct research ranging from feedback, insight protocols to usability tests.
• Research and track advancements in mobile application design patterns.

Your skills and competencies

• Expert in current graphic design practices and tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and related tooling.
• Deep familiarity with iOS and Android human interface guidelines, and mobile design patterns.
• Experience with interactive animation in a mobile app context.
• Strong understanding of web application and interactive design.
• Strong understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, and color theory.
• You’re able to empathise with users and quickly grasp the issues they’re facing.
• You leverage data to make decisions and get to the root cause of customer needs.
• You are well organised and have no problems meeting strict deadlines.
• You connect with people easily and have natural leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a natural flair for identifying opportunities for design or procedural improvement.
• Not afraid to experiment with new technologies outside your comfort zone.
• You are able to bring people with you on the design journey, proposing solutions informed by data and research while addressing business goals and strategies.
