Embedded Developer

Company Profile: Software development firm specializing in designing and developing customized Internet of Things (IoT) software products for industrial clients. With offices based out of Gurgaon and Qatar, the company aims to become the most trusted digital transformation partner for global enterprises in the fields of Telecom, Logistics, Security, Utilities, Smart Cities among others.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding technical requirements from business teams
• Develop Agent SDK /APIs / adapter to connect devices to Client chosen IOT platforms - Cumulocity cloud or Azure IoT Hub or through Azure DPS.
• Coordinating with Client’s technical team to propose appropriate IoT devices per different business use cases.
• Reaching out different IoT device / hardware partners globally for sourcing.
• Implementing Device Agent for each devices (Sensor or gateway) and setting standardized frequency policy and process.
• Shortlisting of devices based on technical and commercial constraints.
• Attend technical meetings with Client’s internal teams or external stakeholders.
• Configuration of server side or device agents according to the devices.
• Maintaining catalog of devices onboarded to IOT platform with a trail of troubleshooting and configuration steps.
• Analyzing raw data streams from IoT devices
• Creating unit and functional tests specific to integrating and certifying devices

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as an embedded developer or in a related field
• B.Tech/BE in IT/Computer Science from a Tier 1/2/3 engineering college.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
• Desired Candidate Profile: Must Have:
• Have a strong experience in Core javascript, NodeJS, ExpressJS etc.
• Proven experience in Third party API integration and understanding of API documents and creating API document.
• Experience in MongoDB, Elastic Search.
• Experience in Docker, Swagger, Kubernetes, Socket Programming. Good To Have:
• Experience with integrating devices to IOT applications.
• Working knowledge of Arabic language
