Marketing Lead

Boundary Layer Technologies is releasing a category defining a new recreational product that will disrupt water based mobility, and you will be the engine room of the marketing team. You will fill roles of creative director, brand strategist, senior copywriter, marketing manager and sales hustler. Initially you will be the only in-house marketing staffer reporting directly to the CEO, while managing a range of external contractors, agencies and consultants. This role has enormous growth potential with a progression track to senior executive roles.

*Responsibilities *

• Develop branding marketing strategy that you will see implemented in a matter of weeks, not months
• Create an amazing in-person product demo experience based out of our premises in Alameda, CA
• Write press releases and engage with press and media
• Travel to exotic locations to lead the creation of stunning video and still photographic content to tell our products story

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a relevant marketing role
• An innate understanding of product and brand
• Ability to write thoughtful, crisp and effective copy
• Proven track record of successful developing marketing strategies
• Top tier energy, hype and drive for your work
