The Role

Givens Communities, a nonprofit senior housing organization in Asheville, NC, is looking to hire a full-time salaried SharePoint Developer to join our technology team. This position reports to the Vice President, Information Technology, and will maintain, evolve, support, and troubleshoot the Givens Office365 SharePoint and PowerApps infrastructure. This position will be hybrid, with some days working remotely and some on-site in the Asheville area.

*What you’ll do:
*

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with all team members
  • Design, develop, implement, and support SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power Automate solutions that focus on user experience, drive efficiencies, systems integrations, and data integrity
  • Work with SharePoint Power Users in each department to enable these team members to manage their department’s SharePoint sites and PowerApps specific to their needs and culture
  • Create and maintain an Audit and Control plan for SharePoint and OneDrive access and shares
  • Provide direct Technical Support for SharePoint and PowerApps to departments and Team Members’
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to create effective and efficient training materials and events around SharePoint and PowerApps for team members
  • Build and support SharePoint customizations
  • Build and support SharePoint-based form & workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Automation, and or other third-party products
  • Provide guidance and input on 0365 and Azure licensing needs
  • Develop and support power shell scripts
  • Through collaborative communication and research identify new areas and business processes where PowerApps/SharePoint can be leveraged to increase efficiency, team member satisfaction, and/or overall quality of services
  • Collaborate with Givens Technology Team to align reporting and data analytics
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to provide support and guidance with external-facing websites and web-based initiatives
  • As a direct member of the Givens Technology team, assist as needed to complete tasks to support the team as a whole daily
  • Research and remain current with emerging new technologies
  • Regularly recommend and advise VP, IT on future system enhancements, upgrades, or needs to evolve the overall SharePoint infrastructure

*What you’ll need:
*

  • Must be able to commute, or are you in the process of relocating to the Asheville, NC area
  • Must have, as a minimum, an associate degree in computer science or related field and two years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 2+ years of experience developing SharePoint applications and Power Apps
  • 2+ years of experience managing SharePoint Lists and Libraries
  • Prior experience with the Power Platform (or other forms and workflow technology)
  • Prior experience and proficiency in administrating SharePoint Online
  • Prior experience with and/or good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, jQuery, SQL, and Web Services
  • Previous experience in UI/UX
  • Previous experience in using, developing, and maintaining PowerBI
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks

*Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 per year plus benefits! *
