Solid-State Battery Scientist - Mandarin Fluency

The Solid-State Battery Scientist will work under the direction of CTO to assist with the development of next-generation solid-state batteries.

The successful applicant take ownership of the following tasks:

• Solid-state electrolyte R&D
• Process developments
• Electrochemical analysis of solid-state electrolytes/batteries
• Battery configuration optimization
• Supporting future solid-state battery scale-up production.
• Guide solid-state electrolyte development.
• Examine new solid-state electrolytes employed in batteries.
• Design experiments and test batteries.
• Collect, evaluate, and present data from testing equipment.
• Identify/troubleshoot the root causes when the battery fails.

To be considered for this exciting career-growth opportunity, you must possess the following skills/experience:

• 2+ years commercial experience working on solid-state batteries (direct experience).
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or similar.
• Previous experience in Solid-state battery assembly.
• High-level knowledge of solid-state battery failure mechanisms.
• Flawless communication skills – both oral and written.
• Mandarin fluency.
