SudShare is the first peer-to-peer laundry marketplace for frictionless and affordable on-demand personal launderers. Our customers tap the app and outsource their laundry. For them, it’s life without laundry, because we hacked it out of existence. But SudShare solves a second problem too, which is that unskilled workers want to work from home. They don’t have the skills to do so, but they have an underutilized washer/dryer, which when combined with SudShare’s worker app, provides the first-ever manual labor work-from-home gig in the world.

SudShare is the first nationwide marketplace for personal launderers, serving over 400+ cities throughout the U.S. Perfect product market fit drove a 100x surge in users & revenue over the past few years and a 19% MoM increase in 2021. In March 2022 we closed a $10m seed round which included VC investments from Headline, Origin Ventures, Starting Line VC, Ludlow Ventures, and Clean Ventures, as well as notable angel investments from Max Mullen, co-founder of Instacart, Steven Galanis, Co-founder and CEO of Cameo, Joanna Riley, CEO and co-founder of Censia, and Rob Chesnut, Chief Ethics Officer for airbnb.

The Role

We are looking for a consumer-focused digital marketer who is excited to create a digital marketing strategy from the ground up. As part of our team, the Head of Performance Marketing will work closely with the CEO and co-founders and cross-functionally with the product, engineering, and operations teams. Successful candidates will have experience bringing an analytical approach to digital marketing, conversion rate optimization, and churn reduction for consumer-facing marketplaces.

As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will:

Develop our digital objectives, strategies, and programs for brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
Create, implement and own digital marketing strategies for the purpose of user acquisition (demand and supply side) and activation for new and existing markets utilizing performance-driven creative campaigns (paid social, digital display, creative, digital retargeting, TikTok, etc.).
Lead, develop, and create tests and experiments to innovate how we drive growth and user acquisition.
Develop & manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring opportunities deliver successful ROI metrics.
Understand acquisition cost trade-offs needed and come up with creative ideas and workarounds for customer acquisition and retention.
Responsible for the creative production of all digital assets, including copywriting, design, and image selection
Own the management of our marketing automation tool and contact database
Develop and execute a strategy to measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns on a monthly basis

Requirements

5+ years of digital marketing experience with at least 3+ years of consumer digital marketing, ideally at a peer-to-peer marketplace.
Bachelor’s degree preferable, ideally in a quantitative field like Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
Experience running multi-channel experiments at early-stage companies.
Understand the value of mobile app engagement and how to drive app downloads, engagement and transactions.
Love of data. Focus intensely on quantitative analysis and analytics: Dashboards, Reporting, Insights, Metrics, KPIs.
Data-driven; you know how to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies and outcomes.
