Mechanical Engineer

Your role as a Mechanical Engineer at ORC

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for manufacturing Light Lace sensors, building assemblies for quality assurance testing and automating the manufacturing process, designing and building enclosures for our electronics. You will be working on next generation wearables that capture motion, fatigue and vitals data. You will assist in iterating and prototyping and work alongside other team members to ensure the product requirements are met.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
2-5 years experience as a Mechanical or Hardware Engineer
Experience using CAD Software (Fusion 360 or SolidWorks preferred)
Familiarity with PCB Design Software preferred (Altium and/or Eagle)
Familiarity with 3D Printing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Relocation to Ithaca, NY
