The Role

This role is at our client, www.pointpickup.com - a last mile delivery, fulfillment and flex work enterprise technology company disruprting the future of work.

We are currently looking for a talented Director of Marketing to add to our Marketing team. As the Director of Marketing, you will be a critical part of the Marketing team. This high visible role requires a highly creative, innovative, and organized individual who will manage the PPUP’s integrated marketing plan and program execution. This role will report to the CMO and be responsible to gather all strategic planning input to formulate a plan that integrates all marketing communications and lead generation programs for maximum ROI. The Director of Marketing will manage all marketing vendors and agencies as other marketing programs required to implement the Marketing Plan.

Main Responsibilities:

Work with CMO to develop an integrated marketing plan that follows the set marketing strategy to drive defined short-term and long-term marketing objectives and goals.
Once the marketing plan is defined, work with cross-functional team and outside vendors on an execution plan for all marketing programs, including all branding communications and lead generation campaigns and events.
Manage internal marketing communications and programs personnel/resources as well as the Marketing Plan budget.
Work with Product Marketing Team on new product and services launch plans; collaborate on and define go-to-market plans for new offerings.
Assist the CMO finalize new positioning framework for all company and product solution communications and materials; create new corporate identity to reflect the new positioning.
Develop and produce company and product collateral plan that includes a suite of sales/company presentations, brochures, datasheets, videos, and interactive digital tools, etc.
Network and create key relationships with industry thought-leaders and influencers; help develop educational, thought-leadership materials and articles to influence the industry.
Work with key company spokespersons on media training and preparation; oversee all company announcements, launches and press/media influencer follow-up.
Assist Sales Team with training on company messaging and presentations.
Work with Marketing Team for sales presentation, client communication, etc.
Required Qualifications:

Successful in driving campaign results to meet quarterly marketing and sales objectives.
Content creation expertise in all print, digital and multi-media formats. Media production experience preferred.
Manage website development and content; includes setting editorial calendar for all company blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Proficiency with CRM and email marketing tools; project planning/management tools such as Trello; website CMS and blog platforms (WordPress); and graphic design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding marketing revenue targets over time.
Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills.
Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships.
Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.
100% reliable and detail oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly.
Experience in startups and in our industry is a plus!
Working from the Stamford, CT office
Required Education & Experience:

Must have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field; an MBA or master’s in marketing is preferred.
7+ years’ experience in managing integrated market planning process and execution. Experience with technology companies highly preferred; retail and eCommerce background are a plus.
Proven experience managing marketing department personnel and outside creative and communications agencies. Background in managing yearly multimillion-dollar marketing budgets is required.
