About the Role
As a Junior AV Technician, you will take on AV support for virtual and on-site events run from our broadcast studio. Reporting into the Events Manager, your day-to-day could involve anything from supporting AV planning, to camera operation, general audio and visual management and operating virtual production. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team environment, with sound knowledge of AV equipment and troubleshooting skills. You might be a recent graduate looking to take the next step in your career.
*Responsibilities *
- Support the AV specialist with creating AV plans for activity working with clients’ requirements
- Support the AV Specialist with creation of high quality photography & videography content
- Support the management of AV equipment (storage, setup, event execution, takedown, quality control)
- Support production via varying virtual platforms (Zoom, Crowdcast, Hopin)
Who You Are
- 1 years’ experience preferred
- A sound knowledge of AV equipment and troubleshooting skills
- Strong ability to work with a team, self-starter and good communicator
- Ability to upload & edit presentations to screens for events as required
- Willing to work evening events (virtual and on-site)
- Willing to work extra hours as needed
- You’re passionate about startups, innovation, and connecting with others
- You thrive in a fast paced environment
Contract Details
Contract: Part-time (20 hours per week), fixed-term (6 months)
Location of Duties: Dogpatch Labs, The CHQ Building, Dublin 1
