Job description:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing Priority, invoices, and tax payments, overseeing bank reconciliations weekly, and cash disbursements.
As a bookkeeper you will be responsible for:
- Monitor & review the day-to-day transactions, maintaining the books up to date
- Monthly/Bi-monthly submissions to Israeli tax authorities (VAT, Tax, Social Security and reports 126 and 856).
- Processing invoices in a multi-currencies ERP system
- Perform all activities related to the account payable function including reviewing and processing payments to local and foreign vendors
- Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, sales tax, and revenue recognition
- Fixed assets depreciation entries and reports
- Responsibility on several bank accounts (local and foreign) including daily reconciliation and monthly controls
- Responsibility over company credit card – recording, payments, and reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Travel reports and employee reimbursements management
- Salary processing and related tax reporting
- Prepare financial and administrative reports as needed
- End of month: Prepaid WP, Employee’s reimbursement reconciliation WP, prepare the trial balance and other material for the monthly closing of the company books
- Income tax compliance – preparation of tax reports working papers
- Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Requirements
- Certified bookkeeper- level 3
- At least 10 years experience of bookkeeping (tech company is a plus)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Good level of English – both written and oral
- Experience with Priority ERP system – must
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with multi-currency and a Global company is a must.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Service-oriented, friendly, and a team player with a proactive approach
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize workload
- Full-time availability – must
