Logistics Analyst

We are seeking an individual who can contribute to building a specialized shipping network and provide support to our Business Shipping Team. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, a problem-solver, and has the desire to aid in building and growing reliable logistics connections. This individual will aid in sourcing carriers, developing relationships with reliable, licensed, and legitimate parcel carriers for our E-Commerce business purposes. Experience in the shipping/logistics industry is preferred.

H1B sponsorship is available based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Research, contact, and coordinate with new or current carriers.
2. Manage and monitor the selection of carriers and third-party services.
3. Act as primary contact to negotiate contracts and rates, then present to Manager.
4. Disciplined at prioritizing tasks with a sense of urgency to tackle the rights tasks at the right time.
5. Develop new strategies to streamline processes, maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
6. Ensure all shipments comply with interstate traffic laws, compliance, &regulations. Work with all departments to make sure all certifications are met.
7. Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages.
8. Communicate with the shipping carrier for any ongoing issues and provide solutions.
9. Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
10. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
11. Help create and manage logistics budget and present to the management team.
12. Ensure clients, Departments, and/or other required parties are kept fully informed of transport arrangements and status on a regular basis from departure to arrival of cargo.
13. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.
2. Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
3. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Outstanding Negotiation skills.
6. Strong Work Ethic: Integrity, Responsible, Responsive.
7. Ability to work individually or as a team-player
