The Role
- 3+ years of full-time experience in, and a solid understanding of Android (Kotlin)
- Strong understanding of common design principles and security practices for one or more of the programming languages listed above.
- Conversant with JSON, Web services API.
- Experience with SaaS platforms for mobile development like Analytics, Push Notifications, Cloud Storage, Firebase, Ad Networks, etc.
- Solid understanding of AndroidSDK, LifeCycle( Activity, Fragment, Service ), Kotlin, MVVM, Restful APIS, Retrofit, RXJava, Background Process, Java, Room persistence, Social integration, Firebase ( Events, CrashLytics, Push notifications, Storage and database), SQLite, Retrofit, Volley, Third-party libraries and SDK, should have knowledge about application publish process, 4 to 5 apps should be on play store, XML(Every type of Layouts), JSON, GSON, google play services, AndroidX, ok HTTP
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
- Hands-on experience with Android's debugging, unit testing, memory and performance optimization tools. Fix bugs (including crashes and ANRs) to increase the functionality of the application
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Proficient written communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with test frameworks for your languages of expertise.
- Collaborate with team members (product managers, developers, designers) to brainstorm about new features and functionalities.
- Knowledge of Flutter for cross-platform app development is a huge plus.
