Role Description:
As a Technical Lead, the incumbent will lead a close-knit technical team who will take ownership of designing & developing new features on the core platform. This role requires technical hands-on on both frontend & backend technologies, great problem solving skills, collaboration skills to make improvements in the product.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant backend & frontend architectures & applications for the company.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mobile, DevOps, Data, UX, QA, etc.) on planning and execution and work towards tackling complex issues.
• Communicate, collaborate and lead the work & team effectively across distributed features.
• Perform code reviews and advocate better practices for software engineering by mentoring and encouraging others around you to build a quality product.
• Thinks critically about work to guarantee business functionality.
• Internalize business goals in their technical decision making.
• Own & lead end-to-end initiatives, take ownership for problems and deliver consistently high-quality solutions.
• Design enhancements to improve efficiency and streamline the business process as well as the development process.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a start-up tech environment or is very keen to do so, have an entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.
• Experience across the full JavaScript technology stack with NodeJs on the backend (also consider Java or Python) and ReactJs on the frontend.
• Experience in a leadership role with excellent project planning and a delivery focused mindset
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills, and data structures experience.
• Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services in Monolith & Microservice both the architectures.
• Data modelling experience in both Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to understand and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience in troubleshooting server performance memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.
• Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to alleviate dependency risks.
• Experience in versioning systems like GitHub, SVN, gitlab etc.
• Knowledge on Node server, Socket connections, and mechanisms to handle real-time async data would be a plus.
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
