QA STE 1, 2, AND 3

We are looking for sharp, forward looking individuals with varying levels of work experience with an aptitude for learning new domains and testing methodologies. The role needs someone to be a hands-on tester who is comfortable across a whole range of functional and cross-functional testing, demonstrates experience with exploratory testing, not just working to test plans and demonstrates strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will lead all internal QA efforts related to a product vertical ensuring high standards for quality. You will work closely with product managers and developers to test, plan and create adequate automation processes.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute test automation scripts using open source tools.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the project development lifecycle.
Build and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Create logs to document testing phases and report bugs/errors.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Develop QA processes and/or techniques to increase platform efficiencies.
Maintain release cycle changes.
Assist with trouble-shooting production-level issues, behaviors, and potential problems/defects.
‬‬Identify and implement new testing tools & test strategies.
Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement .
Oversee continuous improvement projects .
Collect quality data.

Requirements
Understanding of full life cycle development right from the requirements gathering to delivery.
Ability to triage failures, identify root-cause, and define corrective actions.
Awareness of test automation and ability to spot points of value in the process.
Using scripting to create automated tests.
Good exposure to Performance / API Testing.
Experience with tools like Charles, Fiddler, Jenkins,, Silk, Open Source tools like Selenium, Watir, Sahi etc.
Knowledge of Scripting Languages, like JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.
Knowledge of MySql and MongoDB.
Experience in Agile / BDD environment is preferable.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
Ability to read and modify XML, JSON.
Experience with testing.
