Full Stack Developer

As a Full Stack Developer here at Cuura (an Aureas Media brand), you’ll use your software development knowledge to build the future of furniture shopping. You’ll be working among the best engineers and developers, collaborating on the multitude of layers of our website’s infrastructure.

Our team is committed to creating amazing services and tools (surveys!) to help our clients visualize the room they want and generate their ideal homes within seconds. We are looking for a candidate to design, build, and configure frontend / backend services to meet business process and application requirements.

Responsibilities / Skills

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain frontend / backend services
• Focus on efficiency and process improvement needed for the backend services
• Participate in code review, testing and release management for the backend services to be used by various teams
• Set, maintain, and increase standards for backend development to reduce complexity
• Maintain code integrity and organization with a good understanding and execution of security and data protection
• Involve in design discussion on data models, architectural framework, and business logic
• Conduct regular feedback reviews, facilitate standards and quality within the team and reduce technical debt
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills/Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
• 2 – 5 years working experience.
• Strong knowledge in backend development
• Strong knowledge in design, build and maintain the software development pipeline
• Experience with unit testing and TDD- based (Test-Driven Development) development
• Good understanding of DevOps (git, Jenkins) to build, deploy and maintain the code pipeline
• Good understanding of the website architecture (Database, API, proxies, web services, caching)
• Good understanding of React Frameworks (NEXTJS , REACTJS)
• Good understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Strong logic thinking and able to work in a fast-paced environment
