You will support MunchON’s product engineering teams, will work as a Mobile App subject matter expert. You will be the responsible for all technical and functional capabilities of the Mobile App development using iOS & Android SDKs report directly to the CTO. You will also work closely with business and technology leads including Engineering Managers, Product Managers and Head of Growth.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties

• Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and product management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of mobile development
• Highly autonomous and productive in performing activities with the minimal direction
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective mobile technology solution,
• Mentor a team of both iOS and Android developers. Guide and evaluate the performance of those individuals
• Serve as the subject matter expert on iOS & Android native apps
• Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
• Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to promote the re-use of application architecture, code fragments, and components
• Responsible for UI/UX guidelines of Apple/Google for App/Play Store compliance respectively
• Implement and train teams on Test Driven Development

Skills/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of technology experience in a Mobile Technologies with hands-on experience leading, developing, and architecting mobile apps
• Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Must have hands-on Native iOS & Android Mobile App dev experience in a Mobile Technologies in IT product engineering team
• Mastery in TWO of Java, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Dart etc
• Mastery in Architectures ranging from MVVM, VIP, MVP & Modular
• Ability to independently design and deliver large complex projects
• Ability to provide (informal) coaching to team members to support their understanding of the architecture and aid in their technical development
• Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
