Are you ready to make an impact?

We’re seeking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate developer for a “front of the front end” development role. The company is based in Brisbane, Queensland, remote candidates will be considered if they are willing to relocate to Brisbane (COVID-permitting).

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A passion for frontend development and bringing designs to life.
• Enthusiasm and the ability to wear many hats in a fast growing startup.
• Minimum 4 years experience writing modular, semantic and responsive HTML, CSS and JavaScript according to high fidelity designs and mockups.
• Experience working in a team using version control and issue tracking software.
• The ability to contribute to the design process and test designs as you are developing them.
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, UX Design or similar.

It would also be beneficial if you are able to demonstrate:

• Experience with either Angular, React or Vue.js - Angular experience will be highly preferred.
• Experience with SCSS or other CSS pre-processing languages.
• Experience writing presentational JavaScript code (primarily focused on manipulating the DOM rather than front end logic).
• Experience with Jira, Trello or similar.
• Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub and Git or similar.
• Experience with Invision or similar.
• Familiarity with Ionic and/or mobile app development.
• Familiarity with design systems such as material or human interaction design.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Converting high fidelity designs and mockups to responsive, modular, semantic HTML, CSS and Angular code.
• Contributing to an iterative design process alongside a team of developers, designers, product managers and other stakeholders.
• Contributing to the formation and maintenance of a comprehensive design system (similar to material design or human interaction design).
• Testing designs that have been implemented and providing feedback and suggestions for improvement on current designs.
