Job Purpose
Are you good with people? Are you a great communicator? Are you good with sales, but like the idea of forming a longer lasting relationship with your customers? ExPrep is impacting the direction of Online Education and is looking for an account manager desiring to grow within a fast-paced EdTech company.
Position Role
Once a sale is closed by the sales team, an account manager takes over the customer relationship. The account manager’s job is to ensure complete client satisfaction with ExPrep’s service. The account manager will expand clientele by implementing new up-selling and cross-selling strategies.
Responsibilities / Key Duties
- Build and manage relationships with existing customer base
- Drive account usage and actively develop opportunities to expand sales within existing clientele.
- Conduct customer reviews
- Evaluate and manage new initiatives and business opportunities
- Provide revenue forecasts for customers
- Manage and resolve any conflicts or problems a customer may encounter
- Interact and coordinate with internal departments working on the same account
- Keep up with trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect customers
Qualifications/Requirements
- 1-3 years in account management, sales, or related field
- Experience working with a CRM (i.e. Salesforce)
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills is a plus
- Selling software or platforms as a service is a plus
- Experience working with or in higher education is a plus
