Job Description

1. develop systems based on Java technologies, including individual contribution.
2. gain detailed understanding of our product owner’s requirements
   
3. engage with our customers directly
4. estimate efforts for new features
5. design solutions and take over responsibility for their materialization
6. define the structure of the code
   
7. be responsible for the overall quality of a complete system
   
8. do pair programming / code reviews with your teammates
9. participate in technical architecture workshops in which you act as a leading expert
10. be responsible for deploying the solutions into production and solve runtime issues
11. develop first on new technologies
12. document your work professionally

Knowledge / Skills Required (Primary)

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in commercial Java development, at least 3 different projects

Language abilities : Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Java
-Java 7 or later editions
-Expert in object-oriented analysis and design principles
-Expert in Collections, Generics, Streams
-Producing and consuming RESTful services
-consuming SOAP services
-hands-on experience with at least one JEE container
-experience in the end-to-end software development process

Source control: Git (branching models, merging, solving conflicts)
Build: console-based tool like Maven, Ant, Gradle
Databases: SQL, Experience working in at least one DBMS
Unit testing frameworks: hands-on experience with using Junit

5. experience in working according to agile methodology
