The Role

At Oxcitas our mission is to unravel the biological mechanisms surrounding the remarkable anticancer abilities and extended lifespan of long-lived mole rats, including the blind subterranean mole rat and Spalax. By elucidating these mechanisms that evolution has created in Spalax, we are working to translate our findings into therapeutic interventions which tackle cancer, metabolic disorders and other diseases of ageing.

We are looking for a brilliant DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in a collaborative and dynamic start up work environment.

This role is a permanent full-time role based in Cambridge, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Docker/Kubernetes clusters, design and implement enhancements to them.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Work with the Engineering and Product teams
• Implement and support automated software releases

Requirements:

• Experience in cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure/GCE)
• Experience of modern CI/CD tools
• Strong understanding of software networking
• Basic database skills - SQL
• Basic Python and/or other programming modern language skills
• Interest in AI applications and healthcare
