Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on firmware on the Linux platform on Embedded CPUs. The responsibilities include understanding the requirements, design and develop the block of the functionalities, prepare design documents, implement the software, unit test cases & creation production-level software.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of real-time embedded software/firmware applications on Embedded Linux Platforms in C/C++/Python
• To Analyse domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and modifications as per system requirements.
• Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.
• Documenting technical deliverables like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note, etc. throughout the project life cycle.
• Follow the defined process for software development life cycle

Required Skills

• Strong in C or C++
• Linux application development for embedded products
• Experience in Yocto OS development is a must
• Strong knowledge of IPC, thread, mutex, locking concepts
• Good grasping and eager to learn new technologies
• Good to have: IoT knowledge / ROS knowledge /Linux device driver / deep learning
