Through The Grid (sgpgrid.com), a website with >300k monthly visitors, we help businesses curate credible vendors for digitalization, while empowering vendors with sales intelligence to supercharge lead generation.

Backed by investors with aligned values, we have achieved high growth and positive profitability as a young startup, serving prominent clients such as SAP, Paypal, Schneider Electric, China Telecom, Xero etc.. With an exciting roadmap ahead, we look to add a number of pioneer members who are expected to play an instrumental role in our growth and expansion.


The Role
We are looking for a mission-driven and entrepreneurial BD professional to accelerate the growth of our B2B SaaS business. You will be working in a lean and close-knit BD team which includes the CEO himself. Acting as the breadwinner of the company, your primary responsibility lies with bringing in new revenue and clients, enabling the company to scale.

We are relying on you to

  • craft go-to-market strategies, take part in the design of end-to-end sales process
  • perform market mapping to identify key accounts that match ideal customer profiles
  • acquire new clients and hit sales metrics that are critical to business growth
  • generate outbound leads, engage in strategic outreach to key decision-makers with well crafted-communication
  • qualify inbound leads, conduct sales demo to highlight product values propositions
  • follow up with prospects, build genuine rapport and creatively add values
  • develop a highly effective sales playbook that could benefit other/future teammates
  • identify and close channel sales opportunities + strategic partnerships

You will shine in this role if you

  • see sales prospecting as an enjoyable and fruitful process to expand your professional network (while getting paid!)
  • are methodological in owning the sales process and laser-focused on closing deals
  • prioritize sales efficiency to optimize pipeline volume and conversion rate
  • are familiar with the sales process and nuances of B2B SaaS domain
  • substantiate your actions and opinions with data and numbers
  • do not mindlessly spray and pray
  • work very well cross-functionally (Product, Marketing etc.) instead of being a lone-wolf
