Why we need Head of Content role
We are looking for a passionate and creative leader who will focus on building, planning and executing our content strategy. This includes leading, drafting and producing first class content, crafting narratives to align with business strategies, telling stories that our audience care about, making editorial decisions, and ensuring optimal content delivery to target audiences.
This role will lead and inspire the development of best-in-class content, including blogs, infographics, checklists, research studies, trend reports, white papers, guidebooks, newsletters, videos, webinars, podcasts and more.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and implement the content operations strategy and user research requirements.
• Plan and execute strategies to ensure content is developed in advance, meets quality standards and distributed effectively across our website, blog, newsletter and social media channels.
• Facilitate brand awareness through various content formats streamlined according to different buyer’s -- awareness, consideration, commitment.
• Solicit for and showcase the voices/insights of industry thought leaders, customers, partners.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar.
• Ensure content performs against expected KPIs and optimize on a regular basis.
• Establish, measure and report on success metrics on a monthly basis.
• Deep dive into content analytics and communicate content & audience insights to relevant teams.
• Develop metrics to measure Quality control of all our written content.
• Secure strategic leadership for our client accounts, ensuring the delivery of projects and proposal.
• Drive organic growth opportunities and act as scientific lead for proposals and pitches.
• Use reporting and analytics to track content effectiveness which will shape further development on content strategy for the future.
• Build long-term strategy and delivery for our content team.
• Model how content should behave within the product, including content flows and information architecture

Required Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of content marketing experience with expertise in a scaling and fast growing start-up environment.
• Specific experience of B2B business and technology, and the themes and drivers of how companies use digital to drive consumer value.
• Bachelor's degree is a must.
• A dynamic, analytical and creative professional with proven leadership and performance management experience in a tech business.
• Strong expertise in Google Analytics
• Data-driven mindset with proven performance success (i.e. digital engagement, conversions, leads, MQLs, closed/won deals)
• Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique content (and mapping against buyers’ journey) to capture their attention, keep them engaged and convert them into leads/buyers
• Superb stakeholder management skills, adept as providing strategic communications
• The ability to think on your feet, and to digest information quickly to determine the appropriate way forward, breaking through any jargon to deliver clear messaging.
• Collaborative and empathic. Promotes and actively seek the needs of the team over your own.
• Prepared to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on when required.
• Deep understanding of digital transformation, key trends and players
• Excellent editorial skills, background in tech journalism ideally
