Chief Technology Officer

About You –

✓ As SFAN’s CTO, you will specialize in building the coolest tech tools that power the most popular education platform in Africa.

✓ SFAN’s CTO will be involved with writing code and driving innovation to take our platforms to the next level.

✓ You have strong leadership skills, a passion for developing tech infrastructures, and proven work experience.

✓ An ideal SFAN CTO will be a reliable and adept programmer who is eager to break down large technical problems and solve them with fun.

Your Duties –

• Analyze business needs and implement approaches to deliver high-quality applications;
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time;
• Deliver successfully on all aspects of the product life cycle;
• Pro-actively spot and fix issues;
• Ability to test code and report bugs, log support issues and/or possible improvements;
• Assist in the growth and development of SFAN in any way possible.

Your Skills –

• Knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures, and various compatibility requirements. (Nodejs and front-end frameworks like AngularJs and Blaze / Pyton / Tensor Flow / HTML5 / Unity5 / Artificial Intelligence / NLP and Machine Learning algorithms);
• Be proficient in HTML and CSS;
• Experience with working on visualization libraries like d3js and have built analytics dashboards in the past.
• Experience in graphical databases SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Good experience with using tools like UX tools like Azure or XD;
• Good communication skills (speaking, writing, and code documentation).
