Hyperledger Blockchain Communication Platform Developer

Background

This project is to develop a scalable communication platform using blockchain technology. The solution is scalable, allows others to integrate their use cases to build their applications with the robustness of blockchain into their business models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a tiered Hyperledger network consisting of master nodes, private nodes, edge nodes and so forth.
• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems
• integration across all stakeholders, from definition phase through implementation.
• Provide guidance and architectural oversight during solution fit, requirements, and design to ensure that the end to end solution remains aligned to the technical applications strategy and target architecture.
• Provides subject matter expertise to design, develop, assess and implement complex architecture solutions (integrated process, applications, data and technology) for business problems in alignment with the assigned applications.
• Solution Architecture direction and standards.
• Work closely with other teams to plan and negotiate iterative development
• cycles in an Agile environment.
• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet platform requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability.

Key Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Blockchain fundamentals, Chaincode, etc.
• Thorough experience in Hyperledger, related technology and development.
• Understand how PKI works and how to implement it.
• Understand how Certificate Authorities work and how to use them.
• Understand how encryption and hashing works and implementing it.
• Should have strong knowledge of the different consensus algorithms like RAFT, PBFT etc.
• Experience programming with object oriented and/or declarative languages.
• Experience in developing REST services.
• Experienced with back-end programming languages like Node JS.
• Experience with Docker, Java Script, Golang, Node.JS, AngularJS, and the Cloud.
• Experience dealing with large scale applications and understand the concerns on security, performance, and availability.

Additional Technical Requirements

• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB etc.
• Good understanding of version control and are comfortable working with git, branching and merging.
• Good understanding of containerisation and hold good experience working with Docker containers.
• Good understanding of modern development methodologies and tools including Agile (XP andScrum).
• Work closely with Product Management to plan and negotiate iterative development cycles in an agile environment.
