Senior Front End Developer

You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be going down that path. We are looking for a true JavaScript engineer. Someone that knows when to build something from scratch, use a library or framework so that the build is efficient, testable and maintainable with the right balance between solving the problem while not over-engineering.

About us
We are an energetic though small team improving and expanding our own SaaS offering in the Workforce Management space. While still a start-up we’re a few years in with offices in Hangzhou China and Gold Coast Australia.

The Role
• We’re looking for an experienced JavaScript Developer to join our growing front end team.
• You will be developing addons/apps in Vue, using our internally developed SDK based on Framework7 Vue.
• Diagnosing and solving bugs as they arise.
• Champion W3C Accessibility.
• Autonomously manage your time to meet your deliverables.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

About you
The Minimum Viable Candidate stuff:
• You will be a self-starter.
• Positive attitude to problem solving.
• Heavy JavaScript experience.
• Excellent browser troubleshooting practices.
• Ability to debug API responses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have stuff:
• Familiarity with NPM, and GitHub.
• Experience with Cordova.
• Broad knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with E2E testing suites (e.g. Cypress)
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails (even basic use would be a stand out)

Education Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary education: degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• If you don’t hold a degree, significant demonstrable experience is absolutely considered.
